Things Luke Can Eat
As many people have asked me: “What can Luke eat?” Here is a list of things…keeping in mind that we are investigating gluten allergy right now and it could potentially alter this list…but for now, this is what we have! Oatmeal– made with water – with 1 tsp 100% pure maple syrup or brown sugar on top Eggs – scrambled (2 whites, 1 whole), or hard boiled and cut up – for the pan, only use olive oil (no store-bought spray like Pam) Fruit – All fruit except for citrus, raspberries, and strawberries Meat – Chicken, Beef, Pork, Turkey (when cooking, only use olive oil – no butter) Vegetables – Any (no butter when cooking). Luke & Joey both like frozen peas as a snack! Full Circle Organic Applesauce – Found in P&C in the regular applesauce isle. Ingredients: Organic Apples. Wegman’s Kettle Original Potato Chips Raisins Julie’s Organic Sorbet Blackberry – Small amount only (1-2 TBSP) as there is lemon juice in it and too much will probably cause a reaction. Wegman’s Organic Ketchup 100% Maple Sugar Candy Typical Day of Meals & Snacks for Luke: Breakfast – Oatmeal with small amount of brown sugar or maple syrup on top, eggs, watermelon, water, vitamin. Snack – Apple, peeled & sliced, water Lunch – Cut up grilled chicken with ketchup for dipping, chips, baby carrots, blueberries, water Snack – Banana, water Dinner – Hamburger, ketchup, green beans, cantaloupe, water
