I have experienced some rather severe “reactions” to food. I have explosive diarrhea, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal problems. I have already gone to a gastroenterologist who has ruled out the standard irritable bowel, colitis, etc. She even ruled out a gluten allergy..which to be honest I really thought it was because when I’m [...] My 19 month old son was diagnosed today with 2+ (1-4 scale) allergies to milk and soy. The doctor said to start him on rice milk, but I can continue feeding him cheese, yogurt, etc. This doesn’t make sense to me – what do you think? Would I need to avoid milk [...] and I need help finding a good receipe for cupcakes. I have used bananas in the past but really can’t stand the taste. It is so overpowering in everything I use it in. Egg replacements are so bland. I have found an ok replacement for milk. Does anyone know of [...] She has watery bowls, skin irritation and gags within the hour after eating…no vomiting and not really fussy, could this be milk allergy?? Just wondering if you can have both? My mom and brother are lactose intolerant and my son just got diagnosed with several allergies, one being milk. Just wondering if my son could also be lactose intolerant or if all is stomach pain symptoms are just from his allergy. A book we consulted suggests that waking could be a result of a milk allergy. I would think this would manifest some other symptom besides waking. He doesn’t spit up, (he often did on formula, though) he doesn’t have a runny nose, and he hasn’t any rashes. What do you think? It seems like my milk allergy is different than most allergies I get nauseated, headache,blurred vision, irritable,fatigue. So I was thinking maybe i’m just allergic to pasteurized milk and raw milk might actually be good for me. |
