Title: Milk Allergy Symptoms May Ease With ExposureCategory: Health NewsCreated: 8/27/2009 12:10:00 PMLast Editorial Review: 8/28/2009 My 6 year old son has been hospitalized twice since birth because of the severe reaction he has to milk products. Both times we couldnt understand how he got so sick, because everyone knows not to give him milk products. (Thinking back over the past 6 yrs i dont recall an allergy test being done.) A mineral found in Greenland may hold the key to eradicating milk allergies and also provide vital help in the fight against cancer. Luke has been drinking milk for about 6 months now – and happily eating all dairy along with it. In recent weeks, his dairy consumption has gone up with hot days requiring ice cream..and also we have recently started giving him yogurt with breakfast. My 19 month old son was diagnosed today with 2+ (1-4 scale) allergies to milk and soy. The doctor said to start him on rice milk, but I can continue feeding him cheese, yogurt, etc. This doesn’t make sense to me – what do you think? Would I need to avoid milk [...] and I need help finding a good receipe for cupcakes. I have used bananas in the past but really can’t stand the taste. It is so overpowering in everything I use it in. Egg replacements are so bland. I have found an ok replacement for milk. Does anyone know of [...] She has watery bowls, skin irritation and gags within the hour after eating…no vomiting and not really fussy, could this be milk allergy?? |
