Apple is OK!
All fresh vegs and fruit are OK!
Please beware of
Bread, biscuits, flour, pasta, cereals, etc.. any thing with WHEAT,barley, semolina…..
P.N- some children are also sensative to touch (i.e: if my son touches normal bread he has an instant rash &swelling)
Apples do not contain wheat or gluten. However, if her parents have said no to apples, then she should not have an apple. What have her parents told her about her diet needs?
Yes, the apple is o.k. Gluten is found in grain products like wheat, but it is also in many other grains. If the parents have not left suitable food for the child, fruit is a good choice, but no crackers, cereal, pasta, bread, cookies, etc unless they have been made with gluten-free grains.
My best friend is gluten free. Most things that have gluten in it are things like bread and other stuff.
Yes an apple would be perfectly fine! Gluten free stuff is processed and isn’t in ANY fruits or veggies! Good luck!
I’m allergic to gluten too and apples are fine. Good luck!!
Well, you seem to have this problem sorted now. However, if you babysit for any youngsters in future, for your own peace of mind get full details of what they CAN and can’t eat before you let the parents out the door!
