What is psoriasis psoriatic antipsoriatic?
First of all, anitpsoriatic means: Directed against psoriasis. Sunlight for instance is antipsoriatic, and so are a number of drugs.
The history of psoriasis is littered with treatments of dubious
effectiveness and high toxicity. These treatments received brief
popularity at particular time periods or within certain geographical
regions. The application of cat faeces to red lesions on the skin, for example, was one of the earliest topical treatments employed in ancient Egypt. Onions, sea salt and urine, goose oil and semen, wasp droppings in sycamore milk, and soup made from vipers have all been reported as being ancient treatments.

an anti-psoriasis ointment, in India. Daivobet, manufactured by Denmark-based
Leo Pharma is a patented anti-psoriatic formulation, which is available in 60
countries worldwide, including, the UK, USA, Canada, Thailand, Malaysia and
Singapore.
Recently Niacin has beed proposed as anti-psoriatic agent after finding fumaric acid esters used to treat psoriasis may act at
least partly by blocking the high-affinity nicotinic acid receptor.
