Kids With Food Allergies Expo a Great Day for All
KFA’s Family Fun Expo on 9/13 was a wonderful day! We had more than 500 registered attendees, beautiful sunshine and two dozen businesses handing out samples. As presenting sponsor, Whole Foods Market North Wales did an outstanding job helping us make this event successful. The children really enjoyed Rob Malissa, master magician, Kyle Dine’s "Food Allergy Music For Kids" performance and the dance-a-thon. Thanks to platinum sponsor Nutricia North America for making Kyle’s performance possible.
Our goal was to organize an event where children and their families could enjoy themselves in a relaxed environment – one where they could find some new foods to sample, meet other families, and engage the children in some fun allergy education. Based on the comments we received, we definitely succeeded! Many thanks to our sponsors, donors, attendees, volunteers and fundraisers who made our day a very special one for all.
